Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Heavy Haulage Driver to join a well-established operation on a temp-to-perm basis.

Successful candidates will initially complete their training before being based in Aylesbury on a full-time basis as a Tramper Driver.

The Role

• Class 1 Heavy Haulage abnormal loads
• Monday to Friday
• Guaranteed 5 days per week
• 06:00–16:00 working hours
• Tramping
• Initial training provided
• Permanent position based in Aylesbury following successful completion of the temporary period
• Overtime paid for weekends
• £55 combined allowances per night out, consisting of £30 night-out allowance & £25 evening meal allowance

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Valid Heavy Haulage Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ driving Experience
• Applicants must be over 25
• Previous Class 1 Heavy Haulage driving experience is essential
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach

Permanent Benefits

• £41,600 annual salary (3 month pay review)

Temp to Perm Opportunity

This is a temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and suitability before moving into a permanent role.

The temporary period allows both you and the employer to ensure the role is the right fit, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract following a successful period.
