HGV Class 1 Leicester Fridge and Freezer Work Ltd & PAYE

Job Description

We are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Bardon Hill, Leicester. New pass drivers are welcome.

• Delivering chilled and frozen goods to stores (SDC), working with fridge and freezer units.
• Deliveries are generally non-handball, although a hands-on approach and willingness to assist with deliveries when required would be an advantage
• Shifts range from 6 to 12 hours
• Bookings are given one week in advance
• PPT training given
• Drivers must be flexible with start times and able to work from the clients Bardon Hill and Derby depots

Pay Rates

• LTD: £200 per day
• PAYE: £200 per day, inclusive of holiday pay

Shift Patterns

• 4 on / 4 off preferred
• Alternative shifts available across any 5 days out of 7.
• Both day and night work available.
• Some flexibility with start times is required.
• You will have:
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Knowledge of loading and tipping procedures.
• A reliable, professional attitude and a strong commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work from either depot and accommodate different start times.
• A helpful, team-focused approach to the job.

Licences and Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
